Becca’s passion for visual storytelling began at Sheridan College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Television Production. In 2017, she became the first director in Sheridan’s history to lead an entirely female crew and her early work as a writer, director and production designer earned her a membership to the Canadian Academy of Cinema & Television in 2018.
After graduation, Becca spent the first three years of her career working on set for various NBC/Universal network shows. She learned to work creatively and collaboratively with a number of departments in the fast-paced environment of television.
In 2020, she was offered union membership to IATSE 873 and began working on major productions shot in Toronto for Netflix and Amazon Prime. Between shows she continued to refine her craft and passions with independent short film and music video projects. One of her most recent design projects, Cadabra (2024), showcased at Blood in the Snow and various other Toronto festivals.
In addition to her film background, Becca has worked extensively in sales and is currently a candidate for a Master’s degree in Psychology, graduating in 2026. She strives to utilize her strengths and passions across all fields to her client relationships at Storyboard.
