Michael Chua is a Senior Technical Manager at Storyboard, where he leads a talented team of creative editors and helps bring ambitious video projects to life for some of the company’s largest enterprise clients. Reporting directly to Storyboard’s president, Michael guides complex productions from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring that every project combines creative impact, technical excellence, and meticulous attention to detail.
With more than 16 years of experience in motion design and visual storytelling, Michael brings deep expertise spanning animation, broadcast television, digital media, advertising, and corporate communications. He is a trusted creative leader and collaborative problem-solver who excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, navigating demanding production challenges, and turning big ideas into polished, engaging content.
Before joining Storyboard in 2022, Michael developed content for television networks, cable channels, post-production studios, and international organizations. His work has reached audiences around the world, including a commercial featured on the Jumbotron at Manchester City FC’s Etihad Stadium.
Originally from the Philippines and now based in Canada, Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a major in Broadcasting. Today, he plays an integral role at Storyboard, combining creative vision, technical mastery, and calm, capable leadership to move projects seamlessly from A to Z.
